City PESO Paolo Janairo Sanidad represented the City of Ilagan, on behalf of Hon. Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz, together with DILG Region II Director Agnes A. De Leon, in the recently concluded ‘Executive Program on Innovation Management and Development’ at the Nanyang Polytechnic International, Singapore on September 17-23, 2023.
The week-long event aims for key speakers and lecturers to share valuable information in the innovation development and management of Singapore to Local Government Officials of the Philippines for them to be able to enhance their abilities to be innovative leaders of the country.
Topics of the event includes innovation and sustainability in agriculture and food science, and digitization of public services. External Learning Journeys were also incorporated in the event visiting places like Nanyang School of Applied Science, V-Plus, Punggol Regional Library, Makerspace Nanyang Polytechnic and the Tampines Hub – where participants were able to have a dialogue with the Mayor of North East District, Tampines, Singapore.
